Tram, the locals refer it as ¡§Ding Ding¡¨ for the sound it makes, is one of the oldest transportation systems in Hong Kong. Since 1904, the tram has been travelling between districts of Hong Kong Island and witnessing the changes and development of Hong Kong Architecture.
Are you interested to take a ride on an antique tram, to travel from Kennedy Town to Happy Valley, to look at the old and new buildings and to know more of the Hong Kong Architecture? With the support of the Hongkong Tramways Ltd., Hong Kong Architecture Centre is going to organize a new series of 6 Architecture Tour by Tram with commentary by local architects. |
