Good news! HKAC is planning our coming Archi-Trip to Melbourne and Sydney, Australia, from 23 Nov to 1 Dec 2018.
Melbourne and Sydney have a long and storied history of architectural and urban development. Both cities host numerous historical monuments which coexist alongside a wide variety of innovative and eco-friendly modern architecture. This unique fusion of the past, present and future culminate in a rich and diverse urban environment.
In particular, Melbourne, this year’s BODW partnering city, is merging together architecture, environment and culture, living up to its seven-year title of the world’s most livable city.
This trip is specially planned and curated by HKAC’s Vice-Chair, Architect Joe Lui. We will visit the Architecture in Melbourne and Sydney which will allow participants to fully immerse themselves in the innovative, elegant and vibrant urban landscape of each city. We will also have a chance to meet with the local architects to obtain a deeper insight of the design concepts behind these works.
