We are pleased to invite HKAC Members to an exclusive tour of the Community Liaison Centre (CLC) for the CEDD's Civil Engineering Office—a pioneering sustainable infrastructure project.

The CLC features themed exhibition areas introducing its work in port, land, and environmental engineering, site formation, filling management, and infrastructure for housing and reclamation. Designed as a circular architecture showcase, the CLC integrates engineered structural bamboo, biochar-enhanced precast concrete panels, and carbon-cured concrete footings. Every design decision prioritizes demountability, adaptability, and material recovery—from reusable steel connections to bio-based composites—setting a new benchmark for circular construction.
